Banff Trip

Had a few days up in Banff where we were surprised to find that the County Hotel was owned by Eric Pantel whose French cuisine was superb. His Cullen Skink and Mushroom Soup with locally foraged ceps will live long in the memory.
Visited Portsoy and Bow Fiddle Rock at Portknockie as well as a wee run to Spey Bay.
Also took the opportunity to revisit Pennan, Gardenstown and Crovie, and spent a couple of hours at Troup Head bird reserve.
