Dumgoyne and Glengoyne

Sunday, 10th January. In the midst of the big freeze. First footing the hills - the Campsies. Nobody was feeling very fit. C and I had a tramp up Dumgoyne in the snow. At times you could have done with crampons, but other times it was very deep and soft. We enjoyed a few good bumslides on the way down.
Since it was only the middle of the day I had a tour of Glengoyne distillery which lies right at the bottom of the hill. I only had the wee Lumix but I was lucky as they were on their winter shutdown so I was allowed to take photies.
