Fisher Lassie

07th August 2016
I was lucky enough to get out from Dunbar last Wednesday on the Fisher Lassie which is a lobster boat owned by Gordon Easington.
For me it was a 4.15 rise to meet Gordon and his mate Eric for a 5.30 am departure.

Luckily for me it was a fine morning to be out and after fuelling up the boat we were soon steaming out of Dunbar harbour and out to Craigleith, just off North Berwick, where Gordon sets his creels (all 210 of them).

After that it was up to Gordon and Eric to do the grafting while I tried not to get in the way too much.
With 2 boxes of crabs and 3 of lobsters I think they were quite happy with the morning's work.
