More Judging...

04th April 2021
A busy night at MCC last Tuesday as judge Stephen Lipton had 3 competitions to work through, which took him up to 11pm. Still, it was on Zoom, so he didn't have to travel home...

The first comp was the Cameron Cup, for a panel of 3 images on a theme. My set of Faroese lassies didn't fare well at all, coming last out of 6. Davie Meikle won with a panel featuring model Fredau in pink.

Better luck in the Arnold Rhodes Trophy, which I won for the first time with my image "Mount Lothian" from the January snows. I also got 17 and Commended for "Crofter's Kitchen", and 17 and Highly Commended for "Northern Skies".

The final comp was the Midlothian Quaich, where i got 16 for "Nearly Fourpence". "Rosslyn Chapel" got 18 points and 3rd place, while "Dalkeith Palace" got 19 and 2nd. Pat Boreham won overall with a lovely shot of Cockpen Kirk in the snow.
