Whitehill Win South Challenge Cup

Sunday 21 April and down to Annan for the final of the South of Scotland Challenge Cup, a fairly new trophy which WWFC had never won.
A good day out and great hospitality from the hosts Annan Athletic. Whitehill defeated Dalbeattie Star 3-1 and the celebrations on the bus and back at Ferguson Park went on late into the night.
As manager Mike Lawson said on his blog 'I don't think I saw a cup win celebrated with such joy and sheer abandonment by the players, committee and supporters of this famous Midlothian club as I did in the Annan club rooms yesterday'.
